My Healing Journey
Many of our clients who are looking into buy a hydrogen and oxygen machine from us, go on a journey researching Hydrogen Therapy to carefully consider what they are buying. On this blog, I will share with you my journey, how I started using Hydrogen Therapy myself, to now I´m a leading specialist in Hydrogen Therapy, working alongside my good friend Andrew Morey.
Yet my journey did not start here, and certain things in life shaped my path in my life.
My Grandad was Jack White, who invented the VW Camper Van, who died at the age of 54, from a heart attack, and because he did not write a will. As his death was unexpected, the government in that time, took 90 pence in the pound of value from the business, which is a lesson in itself.
My Dad Bob Taylor died at 64 from a heart attack, he built up a very success business called Travelstyle Ltd from virtually nothing, driving an old, decommissioned ambulance, because that was all he could afford at the time and he drove the old ambulance from Devon to London buying bags, from wholesale warehouses, and selling them on markets in Devon, and in the years to come he turned this into a very large business.
Both my Grandad and my Dad, I think died way to early, both of them were great inventors, thinkers and entrepreneurs. I would guess their early death was due to too much stress and not the best diet. This in itself, got me thinking about health and wellbeing. Even more so now that my wife’s is Mexican and her Great Gran died at 115, and her current Gran is 100 today. I’ve been hearing a lot of health tips from this wise old Granny how she lived so long, even though she was fighting in the Mexican Revolution, and had a challenging life.
That’s me in the middle in 1982, at the age of 7 years old, with my uncle Rolf and Sister Tina working on markets selling all types of bags. In my early part of my life, I used to design and sell all types of bags for many large retailers.
From an early age I was working in some of these factories in China that make bags. On you tube you may see the bad working conditions in these types of factories in China or India, yet what is not sensed, is the smell from all of these chemicals that go into, so many products that turn into so called harmless household items. I saw firsthand the conditions in these factories to make cheap household products.
The thing with complex chemicals today from household products to food, is for example many harmful chemicals in foods are not even, on the ingredient list. Such as acrylamide, which is a byproduct of heating refined sugar with seed oils, this chemical alone is proven to be a carcinogen. Then you have your tap water containing hundreds of different types of forever chemicals to ultra processed foods, to pollution in our air, rivers and sea, it all leads to more toxicity, this is just your food, let alone household products. My theory watching the increase in chemicals in our foods and products, goes along with the increase people taking medication, that’s my rant.
At the age of 14 I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, and it was really horrible. As my Dad worked in China, at the time he spoke to a Chinese Doctor there and bought me back a lot of Chinese herbs.
The moment I remember is, I’m sitting in the consultant room in the Hospital with my Gastrologist, with my Dad with the Herbs on the desk, with my Dad asking for advice weather to use them or not. The reply from the Doctor was he did not know the interaction with the herbs to the pharmaceutical drugs and he said the best bet, was waiting for a pharmaceutical drug to cure this condition, and to use the current drugs.
What I know now 36 years later, is that pretty much the exact same drugs are used for ulcerative colitis today in 2025, and the herbs on the table probably would have helped a little bit, but neither had the answer. If I could go back in time, I would have optimized my vitamin D3 K2 above 2000IU a day, which could have made a 22% improvement on the immune system. I would have made the L-Reutri yogurt using coconut milk giving my intestine a proper protection, especially after using antibiotics. I would have made sure to have some fiber in each meal, cut out milk and gluten products and other intolerances. I would guess just this alone would have made a 45% improvement costing virtually nothing, and possibly the other foundational health hacks in this blog may have made it even better.
Yet for the next 21 years I used the pharmaceutical drugs and started to learn about natural health care, I qualified in Shiatsu and Dru Yoga which where both where really great to learn. Yet I struggled with this condition, which effected many areas of my life. At 35 years old, the ulcerative colitis turned into stage 4 cancer, and I truly thank the team at the NHS who saved my life through removing my large intestine, today I have an internal pouch made from my small intestine that acts as my large intestine, and it works great.
This time in my life was truly my turning point. From here I took some time out and did something completely different, I did a 1-year part time natural building course at Schumacher college in Dartington. When I started, I was not sure if I could complete it, yet every month, was the best, the memories I have in my head are gold dust. This was strangely part of my healing process, getting back to nature and growing my own vegetables. In my healing journey I found after my surgery, combining simply supportive health hacks put me in the best stead.
As I got stronger, I also completed a nutritional course, I bought an Hocatt Ozone Steam bath, which I created an Ozone Spa, helping my clients with pure foundations to health, this is when I started using hydrogen therapy, and I saw it as a very supportive therapy for reducing inflammation and giving me mental clarity and having it by my side through my surgery and covid it was a blessing. Now I’ve been using hydrogen therapy for around 14 years, and it seems part of normal life now, I use it almost every day for general health and longevity for recovery after exercise. My wife now is a big fan, and uses it 40 minutes every night before sleep, it clears her sinus, relaxes her and every time she uses it has a much better-quality sleep, as the husband I can clearly see the difference in the morning, when she uses it compared to leaving it out.
Now in 2025 I’m 50 years old now, married with my life partner Alejandra for 9 years now, with our 2 healthy Kids, Maya and Kerim, and I´m in really good health. In life I believe you have to specialize, and Hydrogen therapy is one of those therapies, that stood out to me being very safe, simple and effective that not many people knew about, and because molecular hydrogen comes from water, and it is simply water in a gas form. It is easy to explain how it works, the hydrogen gas locks onto a harmful free radical and turns back into water. It is simple genius chemistry.

Morning Routine
I believe if you start your day well, it sets you up well for the day ahead. I absolutely love my morning routine as it helps gives me my center for my day. I wake around 5.45am, I have 1 pint of some warm water with some supplements that are shown in my supplement section at the end of this blog, or a green tea with one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar a squeeze of lemon and a dash of honey. My Favorite Breathing Technique
After this gentle warm up, it sets me up to have a 10-minute breathing session with Mr. Wim Hoff. I have a very nice recliner chair, I put the chair in the comfortable outstretched position; I find this position ideal for this breathing exercise. Code & Conduct
In the same way a ship has a ruder and a compass to navigate and steer the ship. I think the same is true in life. I was inspired by the Navy Seals code and conduct, and from it I wrote my own Code and Conduct, your more than welcome to download it and use it, if it resonates with you, for me it helps me keep my alignment, as many times in my life I’ve gone so off track.
Rules Routines & Rituals
Many of us already know the right things to do, yet we often sabotage ourselves and I related to this, so I also created this handout called Rules, Routines and Rituals, again it helps me keep on track. I know discipline only goes so far, this supports my code and conduct. This is how it works for me.
- My Rules Are things I stick to as avoiding gluten, no ultra processed foods, no caffeine after 11am, I follow a low carb diet.
- My Routines Are things like my work time, family time, when I have a workout etc.
- My Rituals Are things like when I watch the morning sunrise, or my mediation before I go to sleep.
All of these things are anchor point that me that may seem small yet help to keep me on track.

Human Garage
I wish I knew about Human Garage 25 years ago. I’ve had pain from my neck, shoulders back, hips ankles, for over 25 years, from an injury at work , and I´ve seen some of the best body workers, from Rolfing therapists to using the Feldenkrais method to physiotherapist and loads more, and I´ve spent a small fortune on them, all of them helped a little bit. But the Human Garage team have a range of movements that helped me unlock the stuck fascia in my body by myself, costing me nothing. Good Sleep. The Number One Health Hack!
Good health is about simple things like good sleep. I’m passionate about good quality sleep, and to get a good night sleep. I think about my day as a bank balance, that I collect tokens or lose tokens though out my day, and my balance sheet at the end of the day determines the quality of sleep I get.
Here is the thing, most people get about 6 hours sleep. The minimum should be about 7 hours, most people probably need 8 hours to feel at their best, yet each person is individual. With a lot of research now on sports athletes, their performance is increased by around 9% if they get this right. I know when I get this wrong, I´m moody, it effects my immune system, my thinking is not so clear, and I make more mistakes.
This is the list of things that can help me get a good night sleep…
- I try to get some early morning sunlight, if possible, the first 30 minutes of sunlight contains more of the red-light frequencies, that has benefits of increasing your melatonin and possible other health benefits. If I would say one of my favorite health hacks is watching the early morning sunrise and watching the evening sunset, when possible, I can’t really put this into words, in short, I would say it connects me to a universal energy, this is for the person to feel for themselves.
- I’m cautious with caffeine, 2 black or green teas are my max per day before 11am
- I have black out curtains and keep my room as dark as possible.
- I balance my blood sugar spikes throughout the day which I will share more in this blog below.
- I have a cut of point with my phone around 7pm. If you watch your phone in the middle of the night you will increase your cortisol levels and decrease your melatonin level. Becoming aware of how blue light from phones, TV, computer screens effect your sleep is worth being aware off.
- Just before I fall asleep, I take some deep slow breaths, imaging I’m filling up a barrel, then I think of 3 things that me gives a feeling / sense of satisfaction form the day. And then I plant a seed thought that tomorrow morning I’m going to wake e.g., ready for the day, I´m going to wake up the happiest person in the world.
- I’ve been pretty much T Total for 7 years; I have a nice cocktail maybe twice a year. Having alcohol before sleep reduces your sleep quality considerable.
- Also, the time you go to sleep makes a big difference as you have different important cycles of sleep before midnight and different cycles after midnight, the cycles before mid-night can help clear brain fog and basically give a spring cleaning to the brain, so if you go to sleep after midnight, you can lose this cycle. The ideal time is 9pm to 5am, or 10pm to 6am. Personally, I go to sleep around 10.30pm and wake up at 5.45am.
- If I wake up a bit to early or if I get a wave of tiredness during the day, I put on a NSDR deep relaxation and I think Ally Boothroyd is really fantastic at guiding the process, here is one of her videos below she’s a diamond.
NSDR Yoga Nidra
This applies to anyone, especially if you have an auto immune disease. That if the body is in a stressed state the fight and flight response your body cannot fully heal, and mastering the art of a NSDR non-sleep deep rest is an incredible tool to master.
Glucose Spikes
Jessie Inchauspe, has brought simple clarity to me, about food. It has similarities to how I started with the specific carbohydrate diet in 1989, yet I think it is even clearer, I think she is brilliant with her 10 hacks on balancing blood sugar levels, which does not matter if you’re a meat eater, vegetarian or vegan, rather it focusses on what she has very carefully researched as a biochemist, on how you eat effects your blood sugar spikes, the smaller your spikes the longer you will live, and the less health issue you have. I absolutely love this clarity and to find out more here is her video, with the Dairy of a Ceo, here is the video link if your interested….
Apple Cider Vinegar
Knowing how to really use apple cider vinegar, is a powerhouse health supplement. Different people need to use it in different ways and different amounts. The things that Apple Cider Vinegar can do is outstanding, in this video from Dr.Berg he shares some of the many benefits of apple cider vinegar. I use apple cider vinegar most mornings.
Exercise
I do about 40 mins per of high intensity exercise 4 times a week focusing on muscle strength rather than muscle size. The research of doing some exercise each day is crystal clear, it lowers your stress hormones, it helps your mood, your bone structure, your immune system, your sleep, pretty much everything. I have had times when I´ve missed this, and I can completely confirm, when I miss this, it makes a huge difference. I inspire you if you’re not exercising find some exercise that does it for you.
Grounding
I’m a big believer of grounding; I aim to walk bear feet on grass at least once a day. The health benefits of grounding are clearly visible with looking at a blood sample before and after under a microscope, in short, the red blood cells, are more free moving, rather than being more stuck togther after grounding, my understanding is that having these electrons from the ground help with a key foundation of health, which is getting the right energy into the cell, for me it is part of the puzzle, as you can see everything I’m recommending is simple stuff, that anyone can do.
This Is a Must After Antibiotics
I’ve had roller coaster with probiotics, when I started using them I had really good results, then I got an adverse reaction to them. In short, there are so many different types, different brands quality etc. If you have any health issues more than likely you may have to trend carefully. Saying that the discover of making sibo yogurt helped me so much. After about 12 weeks of eating this yogurt which I use coconut milk/ Cream, that I made myself. My intestine felt so much better. I have much better energy levels and less intolerances. The probiotic L-Reutri and L-Gasseri is documented that it can help reduced harmful belly fat, fat around the organs, can help protect the intestinal lining, and many other things this is a must on the healing journey.
You will need a yogurt maker that goes to 36 degrees and can be programed for 36 hours this machine from amazon does the job nicely.
Fermented Vegetables
This is another foundation for my diet using both Kimchi and Sauerkraut, I think Dr Berg in this video sums up both of the benefits of these fermented vegetables perfectly.
Candida
One thing that I consider is often overlooked, or not worth really treating by medical professionals, is candida, in short more than likely we all have it. The question is, is it in check, if you have signs of foggy head, rash on the skin, a thick coating on your tongue more than likely the candida is not in check. There are many remedies for candida, I recommended for most of my clients to have a candida cleanse once a year combined with Tudca for a short period to help flush the Gallbladder, if you keep the environment in the right check, that is a slightly Acidic environment, bad bacteria go to sleep, and the good guys thrive. The short answer here is keeping candida in check by maybe having a cleanse once a year and then keep it in check by simply eating not too much sugar and being careful not to pick it up from unclean sexual practices or eating unclean food, and by keep eating your L-Reutri yogurt and having a teaspoon of cider vinegar, I believe this can keep it in check.
90% Problems Resolved or Halved
I’ve been talking to my wife about this for over 7 years, when I first explained it, she didn’t think much of it, now because someone else told her about it, and it was backed with some actual evidence studying the brain, she really has a good understanding and experience of it, as she would be honest to say, she was a complete over thinker, luckily it has changed.
The turning point was understanding the 3 principles by Sidney banks, which he explains there are 3 parts to the intelligence in the body. The 3 parts are Thought, Mind and Consciousness.
- Mind is like 2+2 = 4 using your brain to work things out.
- Thought is like random thoughts come and go in your brain.
- Consciousness is having the ability to watch your thoughts and mind and tuning into an innate intelligence that is within side you. On top of that if your stressed, if you’re dealing with some type of trauma from the past, once you have the ability to rest in your consciousness, you can have certain commands or phrases such as “I´m Listening” “I´m with you always” ” What do you need” in that point you can hear that intelligence that resolves 90% of problems or halves them. The skill to get this is by practicing listening, if you can listen to someone without a lot of chatter or dialogue going on in your head. You will see and feel the changes in yourself, without me going on about it.
Testosterone & Thyroid
As we age are hormone levels can often get out of balance. I ‘am no expert on this, so please see a specialist on this if you need to. My own experience is when I started coming up to 50 years old, my energy levels really went down, and I got my testosterone levels tested which the results showed they were in the very low range. I heard of testosterone injection and tablets but in my research, saw to many side effects. Whereas when I researched the testosterone pellet, it was one treatment that works by itself over 9 months to rebalance my own natural testosterone levels.
The first week I had this I did not feel any difference the second week, I did not feel so good, tired lack of appetite, and this often happens with people as, the testosterone pellet is communicating with the body, that can the pellet work with your body. In this time period the body is checking that it is not harmful, and that is why the second week can be like this. From the third week on, really fantastic, better energy, muscle tone better. absolutely Brilliant.
What is also worth keeping in mind is that testosterone is also important for women as well especially as we age. Like any hormone to little or too much is a bad thing, and sadly many Doctors do not look carefully enough at testosterone levels for women. So, if in doubt please ask for a testosterone test from your doctor to check.
Also, I take one tablet a day of natural thyroid. The thyroid is like central station, without your proper thyroid levels your energy levels can be too high or too low. If your concerned about either your thyroid or testosterone, I would recommend finding a functional medicine Doctor who specializes in this field
Natures Botox
Most of us like some simple beauty hacks. Applying castor oil on the face the night before, you can clearly see the improvements the next day. Another great hack is moringa shampoo for the hair.
These Foods Are Fuelling Cancer
Even through this is a controversial subject that certain foods fuel cancer. I believe there is some truth in it, and sadly 1 in 3 people now get diagnosed with cancer. I think this information needs sharing to either to help reduce cancer rates in the first place or to help someone alongside a mainstream treatment. Get Healthy and Stay Healthy
All of the above, hardly cost any money a day, yet the daily cultivation of this I believe is priceless. I believe too many people, spend their health like on a credit card and later on in life get the Suprise of a debt they were not expecting

In America 530,000 families file for bankruptcy each year due to medical bills, 66.5% of all bankruptcy are due to medical bills. The estimated global cost of cancer between 2020 and 2050 will be $25.2 trillion US Dollars.
This is why I strongly believe in staying healthy and looking after your health, as so many health problems come from lifestyle habits which are possibly avoidable if you have good lifestyle habits.

Thanks for your question, all our H2 machines make active H2 water, by simply putting a diffusion stone onto the out flow and let it bubble away for about 2 to 3 minutes. The active H2 water acts as an antioxidant
